Amrapali (Ami) Gan isn’t just joining any platform. She’s joining a movement.
The former CEO of OnlyFans, a billion-dollar game-changer, is now backing btrend. We talked power shifts, AI, and the future of brand and content creator collaborations, and why btrend is leading the next revolution in the attention economy.
If you’re a business looking to connect with the right voices, or a creator ready to take control of your business, this interview is for you.

Ami, what made you want to support btrend?
I’m a personal supporter of btrend’s Founder and CEO, Samia Bentayeb, and I admire her driven mindset. btrend is building a bridge of simplicity and collaboration. A place where businesses and content creators can work together seamlessly without friction.
The creator economy is projected to hit $480 billion by 2027 — what’s still missing?
It’s growing rapidly but continues to be noisy, crowded, and clunky – especially for new content creators. For brands, the challenge is finding the right creator, not just the biggest one aka why engagement matters. The content creator sector continues to evolve and there’s so much opportunity for new and emerging creators to grow an audience and monetize.
What makes btrend different from other platforms, and how will it stand out?
I see btrend becoming the go-to platform for businesses and content creators who value meaningful collaboration over generic brand deals. For content creators, it’s diving into what the partnership entails. Creators get the power to set their rates, stay in control, and match with brands that fit their audience. Businesses will look for engagement, trust, and niche influence. stop wasting time on random cold outreach and instead connect directly with content creators who are professional, ready to collaborate, and aligned with their message.

How do you see AI transforming this relationship between businesses and content creators?
AI is already making work streamlined and more precise – a major time saver. It’s going to help perfect finding the right collaborators for a campaign – meaning creators who truly capture a brand and its ethos as opposed to an inauthentic brand deal.
What’s your vision for the next three years for businesses and content creators?
Businesses will look for engagement, trust, and niche influence. Creators will continue to evolve into entrepreneurs, building micro-communities that brands will love partnering with — because it feels authentic, not forced. Platforms that make those connections effortless will define the next wave.

One piece of advice for creators and businesses reading this?
For creators: treat yourself like an entrepreneur and a business from day one. Be clear on your values, voice, and don’t be afraid to experiment with your aesthetic.
For businesses: never underestimate content creators; they drive real engagement and loyalty. Focus on ones who are organically evangelists for your brand and will continue to be after a collaboration.
And for you, Ami — what’s next?
I’m in stealth mode on a new company that’s women-led for bold, provocative creative content. I plan to continue supporting companies — like btrend – along with other women entrepreneurs who have an aligned ethos of being creator-first.
